Good light and comfortable shoes for walking activities on trails and short excursions in the mountains

Perfect for everyday wear to work.
Very cheap, they are decent shoes, the waterproofing doesn't last very long. Unfortunately the cheaper series of these shoes is no longer in production so we are satisfied with these, a little more padded.

An entry-level product that meets expectations! Cheap and effective: they serve me more as an all-purpose shoe than as a hiking shoe: solid and pleasant to wear. For the price they do the job perfectly 😉
Comfortable and affordable
First of all, I would like to thank Decathlon for finally making this model in all black. Keep it up!!! Black always goes with everything, and any inserts in other colors are absolutely, completely unnecessary! ⚫ Let me know if you ever think of changing the colors of this model. I'll buy a few pairs to spare. 😉 The shoes have a fantastic quality/price ratio. In this respect, there is no competition on the market. None!!! Of course, there are drawbacks, e.g. after a long time of wearing you can (literally) feel 👃 that the material from which the shoes are made "breathes" a bit poorly. Well, at this price! Can't complain. Moreover, light, soft and comfortable. I hope they will last as long as the previous "budget" model, which lasted 4 seasons. And this is true ECO -nomically, because it is cheap and -logically, because with such purchase intervals the carbon footprint is minimal. 😀🍀 Personally, I would like to see a "half" size, because 42 is a bit too small and 43 is a bit too big. Used for ordinary, everyday walking and city cycling.
To see the resistance over time
Excellent shoes for my husband, who has a 47 foot size. He even uses them to go out in the city.

How is the durability and solidity of the nh50 low hiking boots determined?
Laboratory tests were conducted to test the following elements: tearing eyelets and straps, gluing, toxicology, UV resistance, abrasion resistance of outsole and upper components, accelerated ageing. These tests allow us to improve the quality of our products and prevent premature wear of our hiking shoes.
What makes the nh50 low boots so comfortable?
Our nature hiking boots promise one thing, and that’s heightened comfort for the wearer. to this end, we have included different ingredients in this boot to take care of your feet such as the EVA foam insole (flexible thermoplastic) and the heel pad in the same material.We have also made the insole removable for greater hygiene (washing possible).
What gives the soles of the nh50 low hiking boots so much grip on hiking trails?
The sole’s design is the result of long research carried out in our labs. It is composed of a specific rubber formula which optimises grip and traction. We are always looking for the best solution to progress on loose or mineral (forest or coastal) walking trails.When used on roads, this can lead to the premature wear of your boots and cause discomfort. They are not suitable for high mountain walking.
Product testing
Our Decathlon Sportslab laboratory, based in Lille, also contributes to the innovation and development of our Quechua products. It brings together 4 themes, each with their own area and technological tools:- Body shape (mainly thanks to 3D analysis);- Movement science;- Thermal comfort (with its four climatic chambers);- Natural episodes and sensory.This hiking boot has been tested for its walking comfort.
